Founded in 2012, Centennial State Ballet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization encompassing a youth ballet company and school.  Located in Longmont, Colorado and serving the Northern Colorado community with a mission "to engage, enrich, and inspire the human spirit through artistically exceptional youth ballet education, performance, and community engagement."

David Kingsley was one of the first board members of Centennial State Ballet. He performed in the role of Grandfather in CSB's The Nutcracker for many years and enjoyed being a ‘grandparent’ to every company member at CSB. Following his death on May 23, 2020, the Centennial State Ballet Board of Directors voted to name the Scholarship Fund the David V Kingsley Memorial Scholarship.

We strive to give all dancers a chance to grow, learn, and shine in the world of ballet. We have a limited number of scholarships available. We are able to present six scholarships total for the upcoming season, which opens June 1, 2025.
