FAQ’s
School Closures
CSB follows the St. Vrain Valley School District for school closures relating to weather during the week. If SVVSD closes after school activities, CSB will follow the weather closure and cancel all after-school classes, including trainee (ATP) classes. If the closure happens on a weekend, CSB staff will decide the morning of if the weather permits classes/ rehearsals.
If CSB closes for weather, you will receive an email to the main email address listed on your Studio-Pro account.
In the event of a weather-related closure, CSB will schedule a make-up class for the closure. CSB’s official make-up class week is the last week of the season. An email will be sent detailing when the makeup class will be.
CSB follows SVVSD for large break closures, such as Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break, but does not observe single-day holiday closures, including Memorial Day, Labor Day, and MLK Day. Classes will still be held on those days, even though public schools observe the day.
Reporting Student Absence/Make-Up Policy
If your student needs to miss class for any reason, please notify us
If your student is sick, please keep them home to help stop the spread of sickness at the studio. We take measures to stop the spread of germs, and we ask that families help us as well.
Students may make up any absences by taking a class at their same level or below. Please email School@centennialstateballet.org to request a makeup class or talk to Katherine in person.
Parking
The parking lot across the street from the studio at 350 Terry Street is free to use for our dancers (or parents of dancers) during class and rehearsals.
