Centennial State Ballet’s Fall Showcase, presented by Longmont Museum’s Stewart Auditorium, promised to be an exciting and culturally enriching event for the whole community. Featuring both Saint-Saëns Carnival of the Animals and Tomm Ruud’s critically acclaimed Mobile performed by the Zikr Dance Ensemble, CSB’s Showcase celebrated the diversity of the finest in both classical and contemporary dance.

The Fall Showcase provided an opportunity for its talented dancers to collaborate and work with guest professional dancers, choreographers, musicians, and other artists to further enhance their journey as aspiring young professionals and create a memorable experience for the entire audience.

The Sugar Plum Fairy warmly invites you to Centennial State Ballet's 12th Annual Sugar Plum Tea Party.

This year the event will be held at the Longmont Museum in the Swan Atrium and the Stewart Auditorium. Offering an elegant afternoon tea service with sweet and savory treats, audience members will delight in the sights and sounds of the holiday season. The mini-narrated Nutcracker performance will be held in Stewart Auditorium and after the performance guests get a chance to mingle and take photos with the dancers in their costumes. There are 2 shows on Saturday, November 25th at 1 PM and 4 PM, and 2 shows on Sunday, November 26th at 1 PM and 4 PM at the Longmont Museum.

The Nutcracker (December) is our 20th annual production with accompaniment from local musicians; e.g. Skyline Jazz Band, Armstrong Duet, Harp Ensemble of Fort Collins, and local solo musicians (choreographed by Kristin Kingsley, Kristen Demaree, Laura Malpass).
